FIAS at the very forefront of the J. P. Morgan Chase!
Gianmarco Lazzeri 11th runner up!
Nine FIAS runners took part in the J. P. Morgan Chase in Frankfurt - despite the bad weather. FIAS doctoral student Gianmarco was particularly successful: he achieved the eleventh best time - and 23rd place worldwide!
“The fastest legs at FIAS - we are super proud!” reports team captain Artemiy Belousov. Gianmarco crossed the finish line after 17:39 minutes - not long after the winning time of 16:06. The other runners from the nine-strong FIAS team also successfully mastered the 5.6 km course, proving their fitness and showing a great team spirit.
This year, FIAS once again took part in the J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge - the world's largest company run with over 65,000 participants. The administration sponsored the T-shirts, which the team titled “From Equations to Endorphins”.
Congratulations - and we are proud of our runners!
